StaticHeartbeat

Bite the lip, spit the red
Favela spins, a fever fed
Wind cuts cold, black out the head
Pulse goes flat, entirely dead
Strobe hit. Salt on the lip
Jaw locks. Let the floor rip
F-f-frozen pulse, snap the thread
Cut it, cut it, cut it dead
D-d-dead channel, d-d-dead
Static hiss drilling in my head
C-c-cold wrist, pull the copper thread
System down, flat and dead
D-d-dead channel, d-d-dead
Numb eye, all the color bled
White noise, feeding me instead
D-d-dead channel, drop dead
Ground shakes. Heavy lead.
Flesh burns. Layer shed.
Cold wire. In the chest instead.
Zero heat. Walking dead.
V-v-vibrate. Vein is fed.
Empty flesh. Heavy tread.
F-f-freeze up. Signal fled.
Cut it, cut it, cut it dead.
D-d-dead channel, d-d-dead
Static hiss swallowing my head
C-c-cold wrist, snap the copper thread
System down, totally dead
D-d-dead channel, d-d-dead
Numb eye, all the color bled
White noise, nothing to be said
D-d-dead channel, cut
